When life gives you lemons, make lemonade. This cool refreshing drink is not only delicious but aesthetically pleasing.

I grew up in the pool. If I wasn't in swim practice then I was playing with friends. I enjoyed seeing all the bright colors and patterns. I think the print of a person's suit can tell you a lot about their personality. 

One of my favorite foods of all time is watermelon. I vividly remember sitting on the back porch spitting seeds in the Texas heat while eating watermelon straight from the fridge.

I love small natural details. Flowers, rocks, and bugs are beautiful things. 

Dragonflies are a little bit of imagining magic for anyone who is willing to accept them as dragons. imagining them flying around as real dragons during the summer months by the lake still brings me so much joy. 

Succulents and cactuses are a novelty surprise in the fields of Texas. They have unlike flowers and sharp spikes that are soft when touched gently. Fun fact: you can eat the purple cactus fruit if you peel them and carefully remove all the spikes. Homemade cactus Jelly...Yum!

Cardinals are a classic North American bird with no fear. Their bright red bodies while beautiful in a dense forest landscape or a backyard also scare off smaller birds. Not to fear though... the other creatures like to find sneaky ways to check you or your bird reader out when the cardinals back is turned.
